Program Update: As of Feb 2026, Pogo Pass and GetOutPass merged into one company is now under the brand GetOut Pass. This blog post is about the former Pogo Pass, but many of the attractions have been brought over to the GetOut Pass, so the experiences should still be relevant.
If you’ve had a previous Pogo Pass account, it should have been merged into the new GetOut website and app. You can log in with your same credentials on the GetOut website and the GetOut app.

The following article is about the previous Pogo Pass.
We’ve had the Dallas Pogo Pass for our entire family for the past year and have used it to attend many of the venues on the list they offer. This is our review of the Pogo Pass for Dallas. We were gifted passes in exchange for social media posts. You can see some of the posts on our Instagram and YouTube channel.
Now that we’ve had these passes for a year, I decided to write a lengthier blog post about the Dallas Pogo Passes for those wondering if these passes are worth it or not. If you live in Dallas or Fort Worth and have young kids, these might be worth it for you. But first, let’s go through what it is and what you get.
What is Pogo Pass?
Pogo Pass is one digital ticket that gives you admission into many attractions in the area you choose to purchase. In this case, it would be Dallas/Fort Worth attractions.
How Does Pogo Pass Work?
Once you purchase Pogo Passes for your family, Pogo Pass has an app that you can download from the app store.

After downloading it, log in with your username and password and the passes you purchased should appear within the app – one for each member of your family.
Each pass has a barcode that can be scanned whenever you check into a venue. I really appreciate that the app clearly lets you know when the passes are valid until so you can plan accordingly.

There’s a VENUE button next to each ticket that will show you a list of everything you get with your ticket. It even shows you how many redemptions you get for each pass and if you’ve claimed it or not.

Some of the venues that we were fortunate to be able to go to are no longer on the list, but new venues have been added. As fun as they were, I’ve excluded them from this write-up.
As you can see, even though this screen shows I only attended 2 of the events in this part of the list, those two tickets alone were worth the cost of the discounted ticket to Pogo Pass.
Pogo Pass Price
The Pogo Pass usually costs $99.98 for a 12-month membership, but with this link you can get 50% off your Pogo Pass, making it $49.99. A trip to 2 venues as adults easily pays for itself.
For example, regular prices for admission to the two venues I claimed on this screen are:
- Fort Worth Zoo Tickets: $24 on weekends for adults
- Hawaiian Waters Tickets: $24.99 + tax for adults
The Pogo Pass App
In the Pogo Pass App, clicking on the venue you are interested in will give you more information about that venue — the address, what’s included, the hours they are open, and any other information you need to know before you go. It’s great that you can look up the information right in the app. Here’s the info screen for Fort Worth Zoo to show you an example:

What’s Included in Your Dallas Pogo Pass?
So, now let’s take a look at what’s actually included in this pass. The Pogo Pass gives you tickets to sports games, admission into bowling alleys, kids’ attractions, a couple of water parks, museums, tourist destinations, ice skating, and even a trip to the zoo.
Venues do change from time to time, so be sure to check your app to see if any venues have been removed or added since your purchase. I’d advise you to go to the venues you are most eager about first to make sure you have a chance to go.
The full list of venues is available on the Pogo Pass website, but I’m going to go through them here with photos of places we’ve gone to.
If you are traveling to other cities, you also have the option of purchasing Pogo Pass for different locations, which is great for filling up things to do on a vacation to one of these other destinations. The other locations available are:
- Austin/San Antonio, TX
- Cincinnati, OH
- Emerald Coast, FL

- Kansas City, KS
- Las Vegas, NV
- Nashville, TN
- Phoenix/Tucson, AZ
- Portland, OR
Pogo Pass Dallas Attractions
The following are the list of attractions included at the time of writing this article (2025).
1. Hawaiian Falls or Hawaiian Waters

We chose to go to Hawaiian Waters at The Colony because it was the closest to where we live. Our kids had so much fun playing in the water in all the different areas. I enjoyed going around the lazy river. What a great way to spend a hot day!

This venue can get crowded, so choosing a less popular day/time to go might be more ideal. It was crowded when we went, so it took some time to secure a spot for our things, but we were able to find one. When in doubt, go early to avoid the crowds.
2. Fort Worth Zoo

A trip to the zoo is always fun to see all the different types of animals in person. We really enjoyed our time there seeing different animals — flamingos, hippos, giraffes, unique birds, and more!

3. Reunion Tower

Reunion Tower is a must see for tourists traveling to Dallas. You have the chance to see the Dallas skyline from a nice high vantage point.
4. Texas Discovery Gardens

If you’ve never heard of Texas Discovery Gardens, you’re about to discover a new place! It’s a butterfly garden located at Fair Park. It’s an indoor ecosystem designed just for butterflies. It’s a bit humid and warm inside, which is something great to do on a cold day.

I was lucky enough to be able to take photos of these butterflies close up before they flew away!

Outside in the lobby area, there are other displays where you can see different terraniums with insects, aquariums with a turtle, axolotl, and more.

Is Pogo Pass Worth It For Dallas Families?
This is completely an individual choice as each family is different. If you see at least 3 venues on this list that you think your family would enjoy, I would say it is worth it because you will get your money’s worth. Plus, you can explore other venues you may not have thought to go to.
Our family enjoyed using Pogo Pass to go to venues that we would have gone to anyways and would have had to pay for each one separately, so it was nice to have it all rolled up into one pass!
We especially enjoyed having tickets to the two water parks, the zoo, museums, and learning about and trying new attractions in DFW that we didn’t know existed! It was nice to add something from Pogo Pass to do on weekends when we had nothing planned.
